The Filter King fulfills two requirements being both a pressure regulator & a fuel filter in one compact unit.
Suitable for low pressure systems it can set to regulate the fuel pressure anywhere in the 1 - 5psi range.
The competition version has an 85mm diameter regulater diaphragm and also benefits from a larger filter as well as a higher flow rate than the fast road version making it suited to highly tuned competition engines running on carburettors.
For large capacity engines that require a high fuel flow at moderate pressure the V8 / Hi-flow version should be used.
The competition version of the Filter King has a 85mm diameter regulator and an alloy filter bowl. It is supplied with a pressure gauge for inital set up / diagnostic purposes although it is recommended that the gauge is removed after set up and a blanking plug is supplied.
Two versions are available:
1. To accept 8mm id hose
2. With 1/8 NPT threaded female ports for which a wide range of unions are available
Supplied with a flat mounting bracket which can be bent to ease installation.
